If you are ready, follow these steps. You may wish to print out this page:
1. Fill out your personal data form.
2. Fill out the credit card payment form.
3. Double-check your personal and credit card information.
4. After you've entered your data, click the SUBMIT button to pay the $29.95 course fee. Do not click this button more than once. Your information is encrypted and securely transferred.
5. If there are errors, click the EDIT MY INFORMATION button. Do not use your browser's BACK button to return to the data form.
Once your payment is collected, you may begin the course. You can save a partially completed course and come back and finish it later using your login information.
New Jersey law requires you to start the boating course on page 1 and systematically progress through each page. Each page has a 25-30 second built-in delay and you cannot progress until this time has elapsed. There are seven chapters and at the end of each chapter,
you must successfully complete a test with a minimum passing score of 70% before moving on to the next chapter.
6. Once you complete each of the seven chapter tests, you will be allowed to print out your "Proof of Course Completion Certificate".
7. Schedule your final exam (see our list of authorized testing centers). You must
present your “proof of course completion” certificate prior to taking the exam.
