FLOAT PLANS

A "Float Plan" is a simple, yet important, way to inform your friends or family where you are going and when you expect to return. Float plans can be communicated in person, by writing your imformation on paper, making a telephone call, or sending email or text messages. Letting another person know of your boating plans will allow marine rescue personnel to quickly and effectively assist you should you have a problem while on the water. Leave a float plan with a responsible person and make sure to let them know when you return!
